How to make a stamp image transparent

Remove a paper background, preserve the ink edge and prepare a clean stamp image for documents.

Transparency separates ink from paper

A transparent stamp can sit naturally on top of a document without covering the content behind it. The goal is to remove only the paper tone and keep the full ink impression.

Use a clean source image

Start with even lighting and avoid hard shadows across the paper. A clear photo or scan gives the extraction tool a better boundary between the stamp and its background.

Check the edge before downloading

Zoom in and look for pale halos or missing ink texture. A small amount of natural wear is useful, but broken letters reduce readability.
