Add a stamp background: the steps
- Choose a stamp image with transparency around the artwork.
- Select white or another solid background colour and inspect the contrast with the ink.
- Download the PNG with the selected background behind the stamp.
The colour fills transparent parts of the image. It does not replace an existing white or coloured paper background. Remove that background first if you need the new colour to show through.

Why does a white rectangle still show?
The new colour goes behind the image. If the source already contains a solid white rectangle, that rectangle still covers the new background. Remove the light paper background first, then add the colour to the resulting transparent image.
Will this change the ink colour too?
No. This operation fills the background and leaves the existing image over it. To change the stamp lettering, border or logo colours as design elements, edit the original artwork rather than treating the finished image as separate layers.
When is a solid background useful?
A solid background can make the stamp easier to view on its own or suit a document that expects an opaque image. For placing the mark over existing page content, keep a transparent copy too, so the rectangle does not cover the document beneath it.

Local processing
The image is processed with browser canvas APIs in this tab. If you need to build the artwork first, start in the online stamp maker.
PNG output
The result downloads as a PNG with transparency preserved when the operation supports it.
