Rotate a stamp image: the steps

  1. Choose the stamp image whose orientation you want to change.
  2. Set the angle with the slider or use a quarter-turn button. Check the preview to confirm the direction.
  3. Download the rotated PNG. The canvas expands to make room for the turned image.

Rotation changes the whole image, including any paper background. A transparent source is easier to place on another document. If the turn leaves more empty space than you need, crop the result afterwards.

Questions about this tool

Why is there more blank space after turning the image?

A rectangular image needs a different bounding canvas when it is turned. That space helps keep the corners visible. A transparent original is easier to place on a page, and the crop tool can trim unnecessary empty space after rotation.

Will rotating remove a paper background?

No. The whole image rotates, including white paper or any existing background. If you need only the impression on a transparent canvas, use extraction first and check the thin lettering before rotating the cleaned copy.

Should I keep rotating the downloaded result?

Keep the original and choose the final angle from it where possible. Repeated raster transformations can soften fine details. Check the smallest lettering in the preview and avoid using a larger image than the supported output dimensions require.

How this tool handles your file

Local processing

The image is processed with browser canvas APIs in this tab. If you need to build the artwork first, start in the online stamp maker.

PNG output

The result downloads as a PNG with transparency preserved when the operation supports it.
