A florist stamps more paper than most shops. Every bouquet leaves in a kraft sleeve or a sheet of tissue that carries the shop's name, usually with a small care card tucked between the stems and a gift tag tied to the ribbon. Delivery orders add a docket for the driver and a box marked Fresh flowers or Handle with care, and wedding inquiries are written up on order forms that record the date, the venue and the deposit. A rubber stamp covers all of it on plain stock, so there is no need to order printed sleeves by the thousand or bin them when the phone number changes.

This florist stamp maker opens a botanical round design in the editor above. Put your shop name in the script center, run a phone number or Instagram handle around the edge, and compare the mark at 40 mm for sleeves with a 25 mm version for tags. Because the online stamp maker keeps every element on its own layer, one logo turns into a matching set: a care card with watering advice, a delivery slip with signature lines and a box stamp that couriers can read at a glance.

Settle one question early: which surface the stamp will meet most often. Fine leaves and small lettering print beautifully on smooth card but fill in on fibrous kraft and soft tissue, and ordinary ink never dries on cellophane. If most of your stamping goes on wrap, pick a bolder design with fewer words and keep the detailed version for cards and stationery.

Stamps a flower shop uses

Most florists settle on one logo stamp for wrapping and a few wording stamps for the cards, dockets and boxes that travel with each order.

  • Shop logo for wrap and sleeves

    Rosa & Fern Florist · Est. 2019 · (614) 555-0142 · @rosaandfern

Stamped on kraft sleeves, tissue and plain paper bags so every bouquet carries the shop name. A large, open design reads best on textured paper.

  • Flower care card

Care for your flowers · Trim stems at an angle · Change the water every 2 days · Keep away from heat and fruit

Pressed onto blank cards that go into each bouquet. Three or four short instructions is the limit if the lines are to stay large enough to read.

  • Gift tag

    For ______ · From ______ · With love from Rosa & Fern

A small round stamp for tags tied to ribbons, with blank lines that the customer or the counter staff fill in by hand.

  • Delivery docket

    DELIVERY · Recipient ______ · Time slot ______ · Left with ______ · Driver ______

Stamped on the order copy or the back of the card envelope, so the driver records who took the flowers. Useful when a customer later asks where a bouquet went.

  • Box and handling mark

FRESH FLOWERS · HANDLE WITH CARE · THIS WAY UP ↑

For flower boxes and cartons sent by courier. Bold capitals inside a single frame can be read from across a loading bay.

  • Wedding order block

    Wedding date ______ · Venue ______ · Bridal bouquet ☐ · Buttonholes ☐ · Deposit paid ______

An internal stamp for consultation sheets and client folders, so every booking is recorded the same way and nothing is missed on the day.

How to make a florist stamp

  1. 1

    List every surface

Write down where the stamp will land: kraft sleeves, tissue, care cards, tags and courier boxes. The roughest of them decides how bold the lines must be and how much text the design can hold.

  2. 2

    Choose a size per job

A 38–40 mm round suits sleeves and box lids, while tags and care cards need about 25 mm or a 47 × 18 mm rectangle. Set the plate size in the editor before you type anything.

  3. 3

    Fit the wording

Give the shop name the largest line and move phone numbers and handles to the curved edge. When a care card needs more than four instructions, split them across two stamps instead of shrinking the font.

  4. 4

Test on real paper, then export

Print the PNG at 100% on the kraft or card you actually use and look at it from arm's length. When it reads well, export an SVG for the manufacturer and keep the PNG for sticker labels.

Size, ink and file format

Starting points for a flower shop; adjust them to your own paper and stamp mount.

Size
A 38–40 mm round mark sits on a bouquet sleeve without running into the fold, and it is also the usual size among the wedding stamp templates. Care cards and gift tags take 20–30 mm rounds or rectangles of about 47 × 18 mm.
Ink color
Black and dark green show well on brown kraft. White or metallic pigment ink stands out on dark tissue, and sticking to one color keeps the stamp consistent across every paper.
Smallest text
On kraft, keep letters at about 2.5 mm high or more, because the fibers break up thinner strokes. Smooth card allows 2 mm for phone numbers and web addresses.
Files
Download a PNG to print sticker labels or care cards, and an SVG for the manufacturer who cuts the rubber. The PNG and SVG stamp downloads are compared on the pricing page.
Wet workbench
Stamps used beside buckets and dripping stems pick up water. Choose a pigment or waterproof ink so a splash does not make the print run, and let stamped sleeves dry flat before wrapping damp stems.

Florist stamp questions

Can I stamp directly on cellophane or florist film?

Yes, but only with an ink made for non-porous surfaces, usually a solvent-based one. Ordinary water-based stamp ink stays wet on plastic film and smears at the first touch. Let the print dry for a minute before wrapping and test on an offcut first. Many florists stamp a paper tag instead and tie or stick it onto the film.

What should a flower care card say?

Only the steps that make the biggest difference: trim the stems at an angle, use a clean vase with the flower food supplied, change the water every two days, and keep the arrangement away from heaters and ripening fruit. Add the shop name and phone number, because the card often stays on the table for a week.

Is a stamp cheaper than custom-printed sleeves and bags?

Usually, at the volumes a small shop orders. Plain kraft sleeves, bags and tissue cost less than printed stock and can come from any supplier. A stamp also lets you add a seasonal message or a new number without wasting stock. Printed wrap starts to pay off only when you order many thousands of one design.

Can I make a stamp for a wedding couple as part of a package?

Yes. Open the floral wreath template, put the couple's names and the date in the center, and email them a PNG proof before anything is ordered. Florists often include the stamp in a wedding package for favor bags, place cards and buttonhole boxes. Get the couple's sign-off in writing; misspelled names are the usual reason a stamp is remade.

Do I need a separate stamp for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day?

A small seasonal stamp beside your everyday logo is often enough: a heart, Happy Mother's Day or a short thank-you line. It costs far less than a run of printed seasonal wrap and goes back in the drawer afterwards. Save the design in your library so next year you only change the year or the message.
