Bank stamps
8 editable designs
Bank stamp templates organize repeated wording used on deposit instructions, account paperwork and internal financial records. They are useful to finance teams, cashiers and office administrators who need a compact, readable layout for bank details or processing notes; always verify sensitive information before export.
Every preview opens as editable layers in the online stamp maker, so you can change the wording, border, symbol, dimensions and ink color before choosing a download.

Replace all example details, then check the payee, branch or processing wording against your own instructions. A small preview is not a good place to proofread a long number, so inspect the full text before export. For an endorsement with a short deposit instruction, the deposit-only collection has layouts centred on that purpose.

Bank-related stamp layouts can carry a branch name, an endorsement instruction or a document-processing status. Use the wording from your own approved process before selecting a design. Similar-looking marks can mean different things, so the main message should be unambiguous.
Replace every example name, identifier and number. If the task is specifically an endorsement for deposit, compare deposit-only stamp templates. A simpler purpose-specific layout may be easier to review than a general bank stamp with several lines you do not need.
Long numbers can become difficult to read when forced into a narrow line. Use a font with clearly distinguishable digits and compare the complete identifier with the source record. Check again after changing the font size or spacing, particularly where similar-looking characters sit next to one another.
Keep the main instruction visually separate from supporting details. A border should organise the information without touching the characters. If the design only works when viewed at a large zoom, choose a wider arrangement or reduce optional text. Do not remove required wording just to make the sample proportions fit.
Place the stamp on a sample document and check that it leaves the information beneath it readable. Review the actual exported image, since that is the file someone will place or print. Use a clearly identified version and keep outdated details separate from the current artwork.
For physical production, confirm dimensions and file requirements with the maker. For digital placement, the guides to digital stamp files explain transparency and raster output. The template is editable artwork; it is not confirmation that a bank or another recipient accepts a particular wording or format.
Start from the instruction your bank or finance team has given you, word for word. Bank-related stamps include payee endorsements, branch identification marks and internal processing notes, and each uses a different layout. Choose a rectangular template for line-by-line instructions or a round one for a branch or department mark, then open it in the online stamp maker and clear every sample number before typing anything new.
Enter account-related details in a font with distinct digits, one where 0 and O or 1 and I are easy to tell apart, and keep them on a single straight line rather than a curve. Set the plate size in millimetres to fit the endorsement area or form box you will use. Dark blue or black ink keeps the text legible when cheques or forms are scanned. Proofread against the source record after every font or spacing change. For logging incoming statements and remittances, the received stamp templates are a closer match.
Finance offices rely on a small set of recurring phrases. Endorsement stamps often read “Pay to the order of” followed by the bank name, or “For deposit only” with the account holder’s name. Processing stamps include “Verified”, “Posted”, “Entered in ledger” and “Cash received”, usually with a date line and initials. A branch mark might simply show the branch name and town inside a ring. Cashiers may also keep a “Counted twice” mark for till reconciliations and float checks.
Treasury and audit teams sometimes add a checking block with labelled lines such as “Checked by” and “Authorised by”, which keeps responsibilities visible on the page. Wording matters far more here than decoration, so skip ornate borders and keep symbols minimal. A designed stamp does not create banking authority or guarantee that a bank will accept an endorsement; follow the instructions your bank provides. For ring spacing on round branch marks, our company seal maker guide covers the same principles, from curved text to central emblems.
Decide whether the mark identifies a department, a processing state or payment instructions. Keep account-related wording in a readable line rather than wrapping it tightly around a symbol. Compare the completed text with the source record before export. A generic banking symbol is decorative and should not replace information needed by the receiving office.
Keep sensitive details out of sample files shared for casual review. If a physical stamp is needed, agree on dimensions and file requirements with the producer after the wording is checked.

Ask your bank for the exact endorsement wording, then open a bank or deposit template and type it line by line with the account holder’s name. Use a clear font for numbers and preview at the real size. The free stamp maker lets you check every line before paying for a download.
Common wording includes “For deposit only”, “Pay to the order of”, “Verified”, “Posted” and “Cash received”, often with the business or bank name, an account line and a date or initials area. The right wording depends on your bank and your internal process, so confirm it before you design the stamp.
Include only the details your bank actually asks for, and keep drafts and test exports private. Proofread each digit against the source record after changing fonts or spacing. When you only need feedback on the layout, share a preview with placeholder numbers instead of real ones.
A $2.50 PNG works for digital forms and PDFs. If a stamp producer will make a physical self-inking stamp, ask whether they need vectors; the vector package adds SVG and EPS for $2.90. Read about digital stamp files before choosing, especially if your design includes an uploaded logo.
