Barbershop Stamp Maker
Design the stamps a barbershop goes through every week: a loyalty mark for the tenth-cut-free card, appointment and walk-in cards, a logo stamp for bags and receipts, and a numbered gift voucher.

In a barbershop the stamp sits by the till and gets used after nearly every cut. Regulars hand over a loyalty card and expect a clean mark in the next box. On busy Saturdays and before holidays, the shop hands out numbered walk-in cards so people can grab a coffee and come back when they are called. Beard oil, pomade and combs leave in kraft bags stamped with the shop badge, the same badge goes on receipts and on gift vouchers sold before Christmas and Father's Day, and the back of a business card becomes an appointment reminder with one stamp and a pen.
This barbershop stamp maker opens a shop badge in the editor above. Put the shop name and the year you opened around the edge, drop your own logo into the center and check the result at loyalty-box size and at bag size before you order anything. The same online stamp maker handles the plain stamps as well: a single word such as NEXT or PAID, a chair number, or a barber's initials for the loyalty card.
Plan for two versions of your logo. The detail that looks sharp on a window sign, such as a striped pole, crossed razors, fine lettering or a bearded skull, fills in at 15 mm and turns into a blot on a loyalty card. Keep the full badge for bags and vouchers, and make a stripped-back mark, initials or a single icon, for the small stamps. It costs one extra design and saves you from ordering a stamp nobody can read.
Stamps for the chair, the till and the bag
These are the stamps barbers order most often, from the tiny loyalty mark to the badge that goes on every bag.
Loyalty card mark
S&S with crossed scissors
One mark per cut in a 12–15 mm box. Many shops pre-print FREE in the tenth box, so the mark only has to be quick and recognizable.
Barber initials stamp
CUT BY JR · CHAIR 2
Each barber marks their own cards. You can see who builds a regular following, and a card filled by one unfamiliar stamp is easy to spot.
Walk-in queue card
SHARP & SONS · WALK-IN No. ____ · Listen for your number
Stamp a stack of blank cards once, number them by hand and hand them out on queue days. Collect them back at the chair and reuse them.
Next-cut appointment card
NEXT CUT · ______ at ______ · with ______ · Can't make it? Text (555) 019-4471
For regulars who book three or four weeks ahead. A card in the wallet with the date and the barber's name helps cut down on missed bookings.
Shop badge for bags and receipts
SHARP & SONS BARBERS · EST. 2019 · 22 MILL STREET
Kraft bags, tissue, coffee cups, receipts and the backs of price cards. A 40–50 mm round badge with the opening year gives the classic barbershop look.
Gift voucher stamp
GIFT VOUCHER · Cut & beard trim · No. ____ · Valid until ______
Stamped onto heavy card, it covers the Christmas and Father's Day rush without a print order. Log each number and cross it off when it is redeemed.

How to make a barbershop stamp
- 1
List what each stamp has to do
Write down the shop name, the year you opened, the address line you want on bags, each barber's initials and how many boxes your loyalty card has. Find your logo file in the best quality you have.
- 2
Measure the card and the bag
Measure one loyalty box and the part of the bag where the stamp will land, then set the plate to those sizes before editing. A 15 mm mark and a 45 mm badge need different designs.
- 3
Simplify and fit the badge
Place the logo in the center, the shop name on the top arc and the year or town on the bottom one. Thicken thin strokes and drop decoration until everything reads at the size you set.
- 4
Proof on kraft and card
Print the PNG at full size on kraft paper and on a loyalty card, and look at it from arm's length. Then export the final PNG or SVG for your printer or stamp manufacturer.
Size, ink and files
- Size
- Loyalty marks at 12–15 mm, initials stamps at about 20 × 10 mm, one-word stamps at about 40 × 20 mm, and bag badges at 40–50 mm. The logo stamp templates show more round layouts to compare.
- Ink color
- Black reads best on kraft paper and plain receipts. A red FREE stamp makes the tenth box stand out from the rest of the card, and a second color for the initials stamp helps when several barbers share one card design.
- Lettering
- Arc lettering needs to be larger than straight text, around 8 pt at bag size. Initials and chair numbers should be bold and at least 3 mm tall so they can be read at a glance.
- Files
- Keep a PNG for proofs and for printing on cards, and an SVG for the manufacturer who makes the plate or for a sign maker. All PNG and SVG stamp downloads are listed on the pricing page.
- Receipt paper
- Most card terminals and tills print on thermal paper, which can darken or fade when it meets solvent-based inks. Test your ink on a spare receipt first, or stamp the bag instead.
Barbershop stamp questions
How many boxes should a barbershop loyalty card have?
Ten boxes with the tenth cut free is the most familiar format, but some shops use six or eight boxes for a smaller reward, such as a free beard trim. Whatever you choose, print the reward on the card itself and size the loyalty mark to fit its box with a little space around it.
Can I use a barber pole or crossed razors in my logo stamp?
Yes. The barber pole, scissors, combs and razors are generic symbols of the trade, so anyone can use them. What you should not do is copy another shop's logo or a grooming brand's artwork. Draw or commission your own version, then upload it as clean, single-color artwork without gradients.
What wording works on a walk-in queue card?
Keep it short: the shop name, the word WALK-IN or NEXT, a number line and one instruction, such as listen for your number or come back in 30 minutes. Stamp the cards in advance, number them by hand, and collect them at the chair so the same set lasts for months.
Will a stamp show up on black business cards?
Standard dye-based pad ink disappears on black card. Use opaque white, silver or gold pigment ink and let it dry fully, or heat-emboss it with embossing powder for a raised finish. Test one card first, because heavily coated black stock can still smudge after it seems dry.
What should I change when the shop moves or a barber leaves?
Open the saved designs, update the address line on the badge and the bag stamp, and export new files. Retire a departed barber's initials stamp so it cannot turn up on new loyalty cards, and keep the old files in case you need to honor cards stamped before the change.
