Gym & Fitness Stamp Maker
Make the stamps a gym, yoga studio or fitness studio uses at the front desk: class pass marks, check-in and membership stamps, PAID for monthly fees, a RECEIVED mark for signed forms and a logo for merchandise.

A gym front desk stamps more than you might expect. Drop-in visitors buy a 10-class pass that gets one mark per class, members on a paper card get a check-in date, and a personal-training client carries a session card that the trainer stamps and initials after each hour. Monthly fees paid in cash get a PAID mark in the fee book. New members hand in a signed waiver and a health questionnaire that staff stamp as received, and the studio logo ends up on tote bags, towels and open-day flyers.
This gym stamp maker opens a studio layout in the editor above. Replace the sample text with your gym or studio name, set the plate to the size of one box on your class pass, and add your logo or a simple icon such as a kettlebell or a lotus. The same online stamp maker covers the desk stamps too, from PAID and RECEIVED to a check-in date block, so every card and form carries one consistent style.
Paper or app is the real decision. Stamp cards suit a small studio, drop-in passes and challenge cards, because they cost little and members enjoy watching the boxes fill. Once hundreds of members check in every day, a booking app counts visits more reliably, and the stamps move to the jobs they still do best: forms, the fee book, gift passes and merchandise.
Stamps for a gym or fitness studio
A few desk stamps, a card mark and one merchandise stamp cover nearly everything a club or studio does on paper.
Class pass mark
IRONWOOD · 1 CLASS
One mark per class on a 10-class or 20-class pass, inside a 12–15 mm box. A bold icon plus the studio initials is quicker to read than a full name.
Check-in date stamp
CHECKED IN · 23 OCT 2026
For paper membership cards, guest passes and open-day tickets. A self-inking dater with a fixed CHECKED IN line saves handwriting.
Membership card stamp
MEMBER 2026 · No. ______ · Valid until ______ · Ironwood Fitness
Renews a printed card each season without reprinting it. The member number and expiry date are written in, so one stamp works all year.
PAID stamp for monthly fees
PAID · Month ______ · Amount ______ · Received by ______
For the fee book and cash payments. It shows that staff took the payment; your till or accounting system keeps the formal record.
Forms RECEIVED stamp
WAIVER RECEIVED · Date ______ · Staff ______
Marks a signed waiver, health questionnaire or membership form as handed in. Staff initials make it easy to follow up when a page is missing.
Personal-training session card
PT SESSION ___ of 10 · Trainer ______ · Date ______
The trainer stamps and initials the client's card after each session, so both sides can see how many sessions remain on a block.
Merchandise stamp
IRONWOOD FITNESS · STRENGTH · CARDIO · MOBILITY · EST. 2021
Tote bags, towels and paper bags for supplements. On fabric, go for 50 mm or more and simple shapes.
Gym and studio templates to start from
Loading a template swaps the design in the editor above. The sample names and slogans are placeholders; put your studio name and logo in their place before you print.

Stamp size · 38 mm
Rubber Stamp for Office Documents
Double triangle with a seated yoga figure and a word on each side, ready for a yoga or Pilates studio's name, city and class type.

Circle stamp · 38 mm
Lion Company Seal with a Date Line
Round stamp with a date line in the middle; use it to mark check-ins on class cards, with your studio name around the ring.

Circle stamp · 40 mm
Custom Stamp Maker Emblem
Bold round badge with a lion at the centre and two rings of text; swap the lion for your gym logo on membership cards.

Circle stamp · 40 mm
Decorative LLC Registration Seal
Busy star badge with a big center word and a year; change SEAL to MEMBER and the year to the current season for membership cards.

Rectangle stamp · 40x20 mm
Simple Rectangle Stamp with 'idea' Text
Solid rectangle with reversed lettering, bold enough for one word such as PAID or RECEIVED in the fee book or on intake forms.

Stamp size · 38 mm
Editable Stamp
Solid triangle with white text along each side, a strong mark for tote bags and class passes; try STRENGTH, CARDIO and MOBILITY.
How to make a gym stamp
- 1
Collect your cards and forms
Lay out a class pass, a membership card, the waiver and the fee book, and note where each stamp will go. Measure the boxes and the margins on the forms before you open the editor.
- 2
Match the plate to the box
Set the size first: a small round or triangle for class passes, a rectangle for RECEIVED and PAID, a larger round for merchandise. Design each one inside its real size.
- 3
Fit names, numbers and icons
Keep one bold icon or the studio initials in the middle and put the name on an arc. Give every handwritten entry a clear 5–6 mm line, and remove thin decoration that would fill in on fabric.
- 4
Proof on a real card and a tote
Print the PNG at actual size on a class pass, and on paper laid over a tote bag to judge the scale. Then export the final file for the stamp manufacturer or the print shop.
Size, ink and files
- Size
- Class pass marks at 12–15 mm, PAID and RECEIVED stamps at about 40 × 20 mm, check-in daters around 45 × 20 mm, and merchandise stamps at 50–70 mm across.
- Ink color
- Use a dark, permanent ink for forms and the fee book, so marks survive scanning and filing. A bright brand color is fine for class passes, as long as it contrasts with the card.
- Readability
- Numbers and dates on desk stamps should be at least 3 mm tall. On fabric, keep text above about 10 pt and avoid hairline strokes, because cotton spreads the ink.
- Files
- Use a PNG for proofs, digital class passes and welcome emails, and an SVG for the stamp manufacturer or a screen printer. See what the PNG and SVG stamp downloads include on the pricing page. If your booking app wants a fixed pixel size, the free Resize stamp image tool adjusts the PNG.
- Fabric
- For tote bags and towels, use textile ink and heat-set it as the ink maker directs, or the print fades in the wash. Test on a spare item first.
Gym stamp questions
How long should a 10-class pass be valid?
That is your policy decision. Many studios choose somewhere between two and six months, which encourages regular attendance without making the pass feel like a trap. Print the expiry on the card or write it next to the first stamp, and check local consumer rules on prepaid services before you settle on a period.
Can I make a stamp card for a fitness challenge?
Yes. A 30-day or 12-week challenge card works like a class pass with more boxes: one stamp per visit or workout, with a reward box at the end. Use a different stamp or ink color from your class passes so staff can tell the two apart.
What should a gym membership card show?
At minimum, the club name, the member's name and number, and a valid-until date. Many clubs add a photo to discourage sharing. If the card is printed once and renewed each season, a MEMBER stamp with the year and a handwritten expiry date updates it without a new print run.
Can a freelance trainer at the gym use their own stamp?
Yes. Self-employed trainers who rent space in a gym often keep their own session cards with their own name or brand, separate from the club's. Agree with the gym on whose logo appears where, so clients understand who sells the sessions and who they are paying.
Will a stamp work on plastic or laminated membership cards?
Ordinary pad ink will not dry on PVC or laminated cards and wipes off with a thumb. Either stamp a paper card that sits in a plastic sleeve, use a solvent-based ink made for non-porous surfaces, or switch to stickers printed from your PNG file.
